Reviews and Ratings
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Village, especially because of the fantastic New Year's party with delicious food and lively music. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring the best pineapple I've ever had. The hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the Sunday market and explorations around Chiang Mai. Although the party attendance fee was a bit of a surprise, we felt it was worth it for the experience.
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to local shops and temples. The rooms were not only clean but were also designed in a charming traditional Thai style with incredibly comfy beds. The service truly stood out; every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The only downside was that while everything was great, the New Year party required an extra fee even if you didn't attend, which felt a bit off. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely return!
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience! It’s beautifully set in the heart of the old city, allowing easy exploration of Chiang Mai's charm. The rooms are well-designed with a touch of elegance; however, I found mine a bit small without an outdoor sitting area. The staff was nothing short of exceptional, with every need met promptly and attentively. Although the breakfast was standard, there was a nice selection. Overall, this hotel is a peaceful retreat amidst a lively city, but consider a deluxe room for a more spacious stay.
My stay at Tamarind Village was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was so tranquil, and I loved how close it felt to the bustling heart of Chiang Mai while still offering a peaceful retreat. The breakfasts were amazing with plenty of choices, and the spa was a true highlight. However, I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, so I can't comment on that aspect. Overall, it's a fantastic boutique hotel that really exceeded my expectations.
I had an incredible stay at this boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai's ancient part. The tranquil atmosphere and the lush gardens made my experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were lovely and well-maintained, although slightly smaller than expected. I was impressed by the extensive breakfast options and the friendly service. The location was ideal for exploring the local temples, but dining at the hotel was a bit pricey compared to nearby options.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! From the warm welcome with cold towels and iced tea to the beautiful traditional Thai design, everything was perfect. The staff went above and beyond with their attentive service. Although the rooms were on the smaller side, they were clean and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the warm pool after exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway in Chiang Mai.
I had a lovely stay at this charming hotel tucked away in the old city of Chiang Mai. The ambiance is serene, surrounded by greenery, making it a peaceful retreat. The location is fantastic for exploring temples and markets, and the breakfast was enjoyable, though somewhat limited. Meanwhile, I found the room a bit dark and cramped, with a few mosquito issues. Overall, it's a delightful place, but I might look for something with larger rooms next time.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 4-night stay at this hotel, finding it to be a serene oasis right in the heart of the Old City. The beautiful surroundings and friendly service made our trip memorable. However, we encountered some noise issues from outside and found the spa prices a bit steep. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with easy access to local markets.
Staying at Tamarind Village was a delightful experience. The serene environment provided a calm retreat amidst the busy city life, and the design is simply stunning, blending traditional and modern elements. The room was beautifully designed but somewhat dark and lacked a private terrace, which was a bit of a letdown. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Chiang Mai, but the pool area could get a bit crowded, especially later in the day.
